DAY 1: Arrival in Dehradun

The excitement begins with your arrival in Dehradun. Our teams will arrange your pickup from Dehradun airport or Railway station. Your stay in Dehradun is arranged at the Hotel Hyatt Centric.

Note: ONLY 5 kg baggage per passenger is allowed hence guests are advised to stick to this weight limit. Excess baggage may not be allowed to go onboard the helicopter. Kedarhills Tourism will be providing handbags to each guests.

DAY 2: Dehradun - Yamunotri

On time takeoffs are key in this yatra as morning weather is very good for helicopter flying. Our take-off will be sharp at 10:00 AM and so guests are advised to leave the hotel latest by 08:45 AM. After a short briefing passengers will board their helicopters for the onward journey. Passengers will get a glimpse of the entire range of snow-clad peaks of the Garhwal Himalayas as they take off from Dehradun. The Bandarpunch peak on which Yamunotri glacier and shrine are located looks simply majestic as we head closer to it.

Yamunotri Dham

Kharsali is the village from where the trek starts for Yamunotri temple. This village is at an altitude of 8500 feet. After getting down from the helicopter passengers will be taken to the nearby Hotel Hilltop Resort for check-in. Hot breakfast will be available at the hotel. After completing breakfast palkis will be ready to take passengers to the temple. The trek is tough and takes about 6 hours to finish darshans and return back.

Sightseeing: All passengers are advised to visit the nearby Shani temple in the evening. As per the Legend, God Shani is the son of the Sun God and brother of Goddess Yamuna and this temple is supposedly the first and oldest Shani temple anywhere in the world. Local people believe that the temple deity regularly demonstrates divine powers to them.

DAY 3: KHARSALI - GANGOTRI

The journey starts early morning at 10:00 A.M. by flight from Kharsali to Harsil for Gangotri Darshan. You shall be driven from Harsil helipad to Gangotri temple by car. Gangotri is situated at a distance of 25 kms from Harsil & the time taken is roughly 1 hr. Our ground staff will assist passengers throughout their stay at Harsil. We provide all the basic and leisure facilities for our tourists.

Gangotri Dham

Harshil Valley, located at an altitude of 7,600 feet, is a peaceful gateway to Gangotri Dham. Known for its scenic beauty and calm environment, Harshil is a perfect retreat for both spiritual seekers and nature lovers.

Hotel: Harshil River Retreat is a comfortable place to stay during your Himalayan journey. This 3-star hotel offers well-furnished rooms, some with balconies that provide stunning views of the mountains. The hotel also includes facilities like a restaurant, a well-kept garden, and free Wi-Fi to keep you connected during your stay.

Sightseeing: Pandava Gufa is a natural cave believed to be the place where the Pandavas meditated during their exile. A difficult trek from here leads to the Gomukh Glacier, the source of the Ganga River, offering amazing views. Nearby, Surya Kund and Divya Shila are important religious spots where devotees offer prayers. The Submerged Shivling, a natural rock formation in the river, becomes visible in winter when the water level goes down, allowing visitors to have darshan.

DAY 4: GANGOTRI - KEDARNATH

Greet your day by arrival to Kedarnath(Sitapur) helipad from Harsil. Here we change choppers and shall fly for Kedarnath helipad. Temple is approximately 500 meters away from the helipad and will take approx. 15 minutes to reach. Upon completion of Darshan, we will return to Sitapur. Enjoy your stay at Sitapur, arranged by us.

Kedarnath Dham

Kedarnath: Located at a height of 3,583 meters, Kedarnath is reachable after a beautiful and spiritual journey. Most pilgrims start their yatra from Rishikesh or Haridwar. From there, shared taxis or government buses take you to Gaurikund, the last motorable point. Gaurikund is the starting point of the 16-kilometer trek to Kedarnath Dham. For those who prefer a quicker option, helicopter services are also available.

Sightseeing: In addition to the sacred temple, visitors can explore Shankaracharya Samadhi, a historical site. Nature lovers can relax by the Mandakini River or trek to Bhairavnath Temple for breathtaking views. For adventure seekers, Vasuki Tal, a high-altitude lake, is worth the effort. Sonprayag, with its scenic river confluence, and Gaurikund, with its hot springs, are also popular stops. Don’t miss Triyuginarayan Temple, believed to be the site of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati’s divine wedding.

DAY 5: KEDARNATH - BADRINATH

Welcome to the 5th day by arrival at Badrinath. From Guptkashi to Badrinath your check in is arranged at the elite star Lord's Annexe Badrinath, Badrinath. After Lunch, enjoy your sightseeing to Mana village, the last border of India. Evening Darshan/Aarti at Badrinath temple will be arranged. The group would then enjoy an overnight stay and dinner at Lord's Annexe Badrinath.

Badrinath Dham

Badrinath: After breakfast, we will check out and drive to the helipad in Badrinath. Our estimated arrival time at Sahastradhara is around 10 AM. From there, we will proceed to the hotel to collect our baggage and then continue to the airport or railway station for departure.

Hotel: Enjoy a peaceful stay at Lord Palace Badrinath, which is included in your Kedarnath Dham Yatra package. This hotel offers a comfortable experience, a great location, and beautiful views of the Himalayas.

Sightseeing: Visit Charanpaduka, believed to be the footprint of Lord Vishnu. Take a holy dip in the natural hot springs of Tapt Kund or admire the stunning Vasudhara Falls. You can also explore the majestic Neelkanth Peak or take a peaceful trek to the tranquil Satopanth Lake.
